I’m looking for a compatible replacement to the STMicroelectronics T410-400D. I tried typing said “T410-400D” on DigiKey, but I can’t seem to find an exact replacement on DigiKey.
I have a “Z15104UL” varistor or MOV whatever you wanna call it. I’m unsure of which varistor or MOV would be compatible with “Z15104UL”. I’ve typed “Z15104UL”, Z151”, “Z151 04UL”, but I haven’t found a compatible match for it.
I installed a replacement Aromat DS2YE-SL2-DC5V twice, and G6AK-234P-ST-US DC5 once correctly. When I had installed 2 replacement Aromat “DS2YE-SL2-DC5V” and one replacement “G6AK-234P-ST-US DC5”. I have tested the board multiple times to ensure the relay works fine. Had a proprietary fan/light control on hand with me. Tested the motor and it worked counterclockwise. Reversed it, relay worked and motor went clockwise. Tried to reverse it back to counterclockwise, and it won’t work. And it’s stuck in the clockwise position no matter how many times I pressed the reverse button to change the direction.
It questions me to the point where I question myself. Is it a T410-400D triac, varistor/MOV, 7-pin connector, and/or an 8-wire ribbon cable problem? If so, what is causing it to act like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Being the off-state voltage rating being 600v rather than being 400v and replacing SOT82 with TO-251-3. Will having higher volts on the new triac in place of the old one and swapping out the package hurt the board too? Thanks.
