Hi,
I’m looking for a SATA connector for a PCB power supply. I have a 4-pin connector, but it’s a backup; I want to use 15-pin connectors for the main power. I’ve seen some connector examples online, but I can’t find them here. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!
Hello artemuch12 and welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
I was able to find the options linked HERE, but I do not see that there is a 15 position. These options would include 7, 13, and 22 positions.
Hi Nick,
I know that SATA has a 7-pin connector (which only holds the data portion), and there are 22-pin connectors that accommodate 7 data pins + 15 power pins. But I’ve seen (and even handled) boards online that have 15-pin power connectors for connecting the SATA line from a PC power supply. There aren’t many of these online, so maybe I’m misnaming them?
