I would like to use an rfid tag to let my dog in and out of the house. I bought a reader and tag that is supposed to be for this but it has too much range. Is there a tag and/or reader that has a range of 1-2 feet? The door this would control is in my kitchen. The issue is that if the dog gets within 2 or 3 feet of the room (10-15’ from the reader) the door opens.
Is there something where the range can be adjusted?
