SMD CAPACITOR

What is this part in the ring 2 small is it a resistor or capacitor 2 on top of the BJT transistors?. Picture attached. This is from Onkyo RZ50 HDMI board.

Sorry, I am unable to identify this using the picture, but have you tried checking it with a multimeter?

For Multimeter Testing, you can try the following:

• Resistance Mode:
  • If the multimeter shows a fixed resistance value, it’s a resistor.
  • If it shows open circuit (OL) or fluctuates before settling, it could be a capacitor.
• Capacitance Mode:
  • If the multimeter measures capacitance, it’s a capacitor.
  • Resistors will not show a capacitance reading.

Hi, ndivendra.
As I see, these elements are marked ND.
Also, the silkscreen of Q7000, Q7010, Q7003, Q7007 indicates that these are transistors. Based on this information, I can assume that these are NPN Silicon RF Transistors BF 841.
