Industrial RJ45 jacks with integrated magnetics from TE offer a highly integrated connectivity solution - from the cable to the physical layer - for Industrial Ethernet.
If you mount the jack on your PCB, you may find that there is gap between the bottom of the part and the PCB, as shown with part number 1-2301994-0. Confirmed by manufacturer, there are “ribs” or “stand-off” designed on the connector and they are there on purpose, in order to provide better airflow and cooling. This is an especially valuable feature, as it contributes to a more reliable reflow soldering. This functionality shouldn’t make the connector unstable.
