We purchased a TSDA-O-IR045-HM-W
CAN-OP, but using the CAN-OP documentation available on the manufacturer’s website, the sensor isn’t sending any data via CAN.

If you purchased this from DigiKey, and you feel the part is defective, you can contact customer.resolution@digikey.com to see about getting a replacement.
If you just want help with the programming or fine tuning of the device, hopefully one of the Engineers can add to this post.

Quite a bit more information would be needed in order to offer informed comment.
What specific documentation is being referred to?
What hardware is being used in the test apparatus? How is it connected/configured?
What is taking place on the CAN bus? Can waveform captures/bus monitor logs be provided?
