I have encountered issue with the Exposed-Junction Thermocouple (it turned rusty). Does your company sells just the exposed-junction thermocouple (I mean the wire section to test for the temperature), as I think the reader portion should be functioning well. Could you please advise on how I can make purchase for this?

There are about a dozen different thermocouple types and they all can look the same. There are ANSI, BS and IEC standards for the color of the connector of the most common types.
The common general purpose type, used with most DMM’s, is the K-type like this one:
