If you have observed that the gap dimensions of the TE Connectivity 66741-5 socket terminals appear smaller than expected, as this:
Example: As the specified gap dimension is 0.05 in ± 0.01 in (1.27 mm ± 0.254 mm). And the measured values reported were 0.8996 mm, 0.9409 mm, and 0.9355 mm.

"Based on the information provided, the reduced free-state gap does not appear to obstruct mating with the male contact.
The spring fingers are designed to open during mating, and no functional impact is expected as long as the male contact can enter properly without interference."
