3D printers are rapid prototyping machines that use composite thermoplastic filaments to construct fused deposition three-dimensional models. They are characterized by their open or closed framework, manufacturer’s series, interface type, power supply, filament size, print speed, bed size, and print height. Interface types include SD card, USB, and Wi-Fi.


SelectionCharacteristics

Working Dimensions: Indicates the maximum length, width, and height the printer can accommodate in its printing area, defining the maximum allowable size of any given single print.

Interface: Indicates the communication protocol used to control the printer.

Voltage - Supply: Typically represented by a range, this indicates the low and high voltage limits which one can expect standard operation. Voltages outside this range may damage the device and other system components.

Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as PCB Printer

Contents: Describes the physical contents, items, and peripherals that the device ships with.
