Board spacers and standoffs provide precise positioning and fastening of two objects designed to be a specific distance apart for insulation, connection, or structural purposes. These devices are selected by material such as aluminum, brass, acetal, ceramic, copper, CPVC, iron, plastic, nylon, stainless steel, steatite, steel, or rubber and by shapes such as hex or round.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the shape and style of the part.
Threaded/Unthreaded: Indicates if the part is threaded or unthreaded.
Gender: Indicates whether the ends of the device are male or female in configuration.
Screw, Thread Size: Indicates the thread size of compatible screws and bolts. For more information on screw sizes see Choosing a Screw by the Thread Size.
Diameter - Inside: Indicates the inside dimension of the part.
Diameter - Outside: Indicates the outside dimension of the part.
Between Board Height: The distance between the bearing surfaces of the part; the stand-off or spacing distance provided by a part.
Length - Overall: Indicates the length of the part, typically including threaded ends.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the part such as chemical resistant, hinged, or stackable.
Material: Indicates the material composition of the part.
Plating: Indicates the finish/plating material applied to the part.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
