Yeah, so as the title says, the card has fan plugs, so when I split the 2 I just rotated the board like you would a door and the capacitor got caught in the cooler and snapped off. I am looking to get a replacement and have found a few options but when it comes to these I just wanted to double check if someone could find the exact part for me?

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. Looks like you have a 270uF, 16v surface mount capacitor. Take a look at DigiKey part 565-APXJ160ARA271MF80GCT-ND as a possible option. You will need to verify the dimensions to be sure it will fit properly.

The dimensions are 7.5mm tall and 6.5mm wide.
Sounds about right. From the datasheet for the APXJ160ARA271MF80G:
For a few cents more, we also offer the APXJ160ARA271MF80J, which handles a bit higher current (5.80A vs. 4.46A) and has lower internal resistance (10mΩ vs 13mΩ) in the same sized package.
