The new 300 Watt NEVO+ series A2 and A3 output modules have been designed to offer customers reduced system cost and simplified connectivity. Each dual slot module is capable of delivering 300 Watts of power. This video demonstrates the procedure required to configure an NEVO+1200 unit using these new dual slot modules. However, the same process applies to the NEVO+600 unit.
The new A2 and A3 output modules in the NEVO+ Series have been engineered to help reduce system cost and simplify connectivity. Each dual slot module delivers up to 300 Watts of power. While this demonstration uses the NEVO+1200, the same configuration procedure applies to the NEVO+600.
Begin by removing the front-end fan screws, followed by the chassis screws on each side of the unit. Then remove the top chassis lid screw and carefully lift off the lid. Insert the required dual slot modules into the appropriate slots. Once seated, remove the four screws from the top of each module. It is strongly recommended to remove these screws while the modules are inserted to prevent any damage to the pins.
Replace the chassis lid the modules screws the chassis screws and the fan screws.
Each of the screws must be tightened to 0.5Nm, setting the voltage of the dual slot output modules, follows the same procedure as with the single output modules, details of which can be found at www.vox-power.com. These new modules not only provide high power density but also reduce the need for additional cabling and link requirements. This simplification results in a more reliable system with fewer parts, helping to reduce application complexity and overall cost.
