Controller cable assemblies are designed for use with related control products to provide interconnection with external devices for communication, input/output, interfacing, programming, and power connection. They are selectable by process-side and control-side connector types, number of connector positions, length of cable, and the specific product for which the cable is used.
SelectionCharacteristics
Process Side Connection: Describes the connector on the end of the cable assembly intended to connect to a device external to the controller with which a cable is designed for use, such as a PC or expansion module.
Control Side Connection: Describes the connector on the side of the cable assembly that typically connects to a control or measurement system of some kind.
Specifications: This selection indicates the attributes which expound on a product’s abilities, but are not a standard attribute universal to this product family.
Number of Positions: The total number of electrical conductors the device has.
Length: The measurement of the connection end to connection end distance.
For Use With/Related Products: Defines other part types, numbers, or series with which this product is designed to be used.
