Digi/Rabbit RCM4300 PN# 20-101-1138 fails to program

We have been using these boards for years. All of the boards from our most recent shipment fail to program.
We get a “timeout error” that occurs either during or after the Rabbit field utility displays the “Erasing Flash” message in the status.
If I try to program the Rabbit board using the Dynamic C (10.72) interface I get the following error. (No ID Block found on the target board)

Old inventory will flash/program fine

I’m wondering if there was some kind of change, or if some PROM values were not set at the factory.

Hello Matt,

Thank you for your post.

You may want to contact DIGI directly for an error like that.

Here is the link to their support page : Technical Support | Digi International

We do have a ticket open with them. I was hoping other purchasers may be running into the same problem.

I am sorry. I am not finding anything that would cause this issue either. Hopefully someone will be able to help on this one.

Must have been hardware changes. Recompiling the code in the updated version of “Dynamic C” seems to have fixed it. The link below might explain it, but I find it hard to believe that all the boards that we had been using before this latest batch were 2015 or older.
