Display Backlights

Display Backlights are used in various display systems to improve visibility and readability.


SelectionCharacteristics

Style: Indicates the form factor of the part.

Color: Describes the color(s) of the backlight.

Voltage - Forward (Vf) (Typ): Typically this rating indicates the nominal amount of voltage you would expect the device to draw during normal operation.

Current - Test: Indicates the amount of current flow through a device used by a manufacturer as a test condition for characterization of one or more other device parameters.

Output: Indicates the amount of candela per square metre emitted from the part.

CCT (K) Features: Characterizes the perceived color of the nominally white light produced by a phosphor material when excited with a specified illuminant, in terms of comparison to an ideal blackbody radiator. Materials with lower values appear more yellow, those with higher values appear more blue.

Termination Style: Selection of termination style used to connect the device to a system, such as a connector, PC pins, solder, and wire leads.

Size/Dimension: The physical dimensions of the device.

Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
