Export problems

so is that “security tool that appears to be incorrectly blocking this export.” just effecting some of my files and not others?

Yes - exactly. It has to do with the content of the schematic, and the tool is flagging based on that content thinking that it’s malicious somehow. It’s similar to a false-positive alert on an anti-virus tool - just on our server.

Hi @techstarmedical, This appears to be resolved from our side.

I tested the export that I saw the problem with:
https://www.digikey.com/schemeit/project/led-diode-driver-board-6954LBO401O0/
and: https://www.digikey.com/schemeit/project/24-pin-main-wiring-harness-6964L98401O0/

And both now export correctly. If you see any issues with any of your schematics, please let us know!

I seem to be having the same issue. Is there a fix? Thanks.

Same problem here after the site “upgrade”

No matter what options I choose, the system doesn’t send the file.

I’ve tried Opera on Linux, Chrome on Linux and Windows 10, and Chrome on Android. None of them work.

@Skinny - could you please provide a link to your project so we can look into the issue?

@kodabmx - could you please provide a link to your project so we can look into the issue?

@Skinny & @kodabmx - This is fixed. We are using a library that had an issue surface with the release of Chrome 83 and other Chromium based browsers. Once it was reported, we found and implemented the fix.

There are too many people with too many problems with this software.
I have just spent best part of a day and find I cannot save it as a pdf file. Same as many others.
Bad software. Bad name for Digi-key and too much hassle to concern myself with.
I am moving on!!
Bye

Thank you for your feedback, @foxleyboy. It appears to be affecting certain OS’s paired with different browser configurations. We can only fix what we hear about.
Kind regards,
Brian

@foxleyboy - We are constantly working to improve the user experience and features available in Scheme-it. Feedback from our customers, both good and bad, help us to make improvements and find bugs. Many of the issues that you find in this forum have been solved or are currently being worked on.

Would you mind sharing your file name and browser information so we can look into your PDF export issue?

None of us want to use that Chrome Rubbish from Google. It presents serious security and compatibility issues.

I purposefully just REMOVED chrome from Raspian 5, because it takes up 10x the SD card space of equivalent mozilla (FF) browsers, as well as the dross and bloat office they also installed on the deb based image.

I have checked out ESR versions of FF,- nothing works to export LARGE complex circuit diagrams as I explained in another thread.

I literally have neither time nor patience to be rebooting my Notebook from Win32 5.2 (which doesn’t work) to all the different flavours of Linux 32.
This needs to be fixed REAL FAST, - stop faffing about for months & months while some of us have PCBs to produce!
