I’m trying to find the plug that connects to this connector. this connector is for an external battery pack for a Autocon Dynapath Delta CNC pc
Hello and welcome to the TechForum!
Do you have an image or parameters for this plug? I looked up this set up and there seems to be an awful lot of plugs going in so if you could offer an image or details i am sure it would help us find this plug.
Thank you
Ryan
Hello. I am looking for a 4-pin plug for connect the battery pack to sram flash memory of a Autocon Dynapath Delta m40 CNC . Distant between pin 1 and pin 2 is 2mm; distant between pin 1 and pin 4 is 8mm. Only pin 1 and 4 will be used to provide the 3.6V from the battery pack. Thank you
Hello Ryan. Thank you for your prompt reply. I couldn’t figure out how to upload the pics. I just create another topic with the pics as well. please check that one. Thank you
Thank you, these should work well. I am looking into this now and should be back to you soon. feel free to add what you want below.
Thank you
Ryan
If the plug comes with the wires as well is a plus
I was able to gather a solid link of options, plug to wire, plug to connector and so on that are in stock. let me know what you think ?
Thank you
Ryan
Also I’m looking for the ribbon that connects a Floppy to the pc. Do I need to post it toanother topic or I can add it here?
Yes if you could enter this in another TechForum post would be best. Are you able to count the terminals on the ends of that one? and how do the terminals get protected 1 blue transparent cover or both sides? We should have what you need there as well.
Thank you
Ryan
Thank you very much
SO, the ribbon that I have has the same connector both side. I need one whit the connector that plugs in the pc
Hello giuliborg
Click here for a link to the 37-position male d-sub cable assemblies we offer.

Becky,
I need a cable or ribbon that has one side the connector like the one on the picture 1 and the other side a male connector that connects on the pc in picture 3.
Thank you again
Hello guiliborg,
I don’t believe that we carry a cable with the rectangular header connector on the one end with the male d-sub connector on the other. One of the challenges with this is going to be ensuring that your pins line up correctly; that is if there are any cross over pins or inverted pins for communication (such as transmission and receipt lines) then just having a cable with the correct ends might still not do the job. The biggest issue, however, is that the rectangular connector only has 34 positions, whereas the D-Sub connect has 37.
With that being said, you do have a few options that could work for you. The first, and probably easiest, would be to cut off one of the rectangular connect ends and replace it with a connector that uses IDC termination like part LMR37H-ND (Mfg part 400M0-37-1-00). The reason this one is easiest is you do not need to know the pitch of the rectangular connector.
Another potential option would be to use something like part C7MXS-3710G-ND (Mfg part C7MXS-3710G) and then use an IDC terminator on the rectangular connector end, which you find below:
Finally, and possibly the best option if you’re using this for communication which requires all of the pins to be lined up correctly, you could start with the D-Sub options that have the individual wired ends such as part 277-14934-ND (Mfg part 2926580) and then add a rectangular connector from below.

Klint
Thank you so much for all the options. I’ll check your links and decide what to do. Have a great day.

Giuliano
Hi giuliborg
Based on the appearance of your header pins and the approximate measurements you made, your pitch (pin to pin spacing from center to center) is probably 0.1" (2.54mm).
We do have some pre-made cables assemblies which may work for you, including the following:
-
110990080 5-pack of 300mm cables with 4-pin 0.1" female connectors
-
810-10052-00050 One 500mm cable with 4-pin 0.1" female connectors with pin 2 not connected
Or, you can build your own with this connector:
