Hello,
Does there exist an FFC connector that accepts Flex Cable on both ends?
I can find Flex-to-Board (https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/molex/0528921033/WM11083CT-ND/5171209), but not Flex-to-Flex.
If this doesn’t exist, then I’d need to solder the FFC connector directly to the Flex Cable, or solder 2 FFC connectors onto a board to make my own double-ended Flex-to-Flex connector.
Thanks
Hello hellodigi,
Welcome to the Tech Forum and thank you for your question.
I am sorry, but we do not have any FFC connectors that will accept a FFC cable on both ends.
Putting two connectors onto a Circuit board to connect them that way might be a good option.
Any questions let us know.
Thanks,
Paul

Adafruit has a series of these, they come in 50, 40, and 24 pin versions.
Digi-Key does not currently have them in stock: https://www.digikey.com/short/zfz15c

Hello,
You can go ahead and order the parts you need through Digi-Key. At the time of your order you would be advised of the lead time. Thanks!
Thank you, PaulHutch! Unfortunately I was looking for a 10 pin connector, but it’s good to know that I’m not the only one looking for these types of connectors.
Thanks for the suggestion!
