Help Locating Connector with Specific Requirements

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a connector to use in a project that has some very specific requirements, but I am having trouble finding one that meets all of them:

  • Sleek Design/Easy to Assemble
    Preferably, something that can easily be clipped onto another connector and similar to this design would be nice: https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/XC-JXD-D2-18-24AWG-non_60827241670.html

  • High Voltage Rating (above 300 V)

  • 18 AWG

  • 2 Wire Positions

  • Under $2 (the product that the connector will be used for is meant to be disposable, so something inexpensive is really important)

Does anyone know of any connectors that meet these requirements? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A connector that is IDC at two wire possitions in a self mating housing can be found on 3M’s powerclamp series connectors.

Note the voltage level is rated at 160VDC and 5A per the datasheet. Price breaks are available and specific to each part, check the right hand side of the part page for details on bulk discounting.
