Products in this family are hand tools used in conjunction with screw style fasteners having hexagonal, internal wrenching heads. Hex keys or wrenches, also known by the trademark “Allen” name, are used with screw fasteners having a simple hexagonal socket in their heads. The Torx (also a trademark) style, known alternatively as star or hexalobular screw head form, exaggerates the points of the basic hexagon form into a 6-pointed star shape, allowing increased torque transfer or reduced likelihood of screw head damage.

Tip Type: Indicates the specific type of tip and in turn which bolts it can drive.
Size: The size of the driving end of the tool. The size is either indicated in direct measurement values or on a standard size callout.
Length - Overall: Indicates the overall length.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a ball end, chrome finish, or soft grip.
