Products in the socket and socket handle family are hand tools based on the use of interchangeable adapters (sockets) that allow a common handle (wrench) to be used for application and removal of threaded fasteners in a range of sizes and types, including internal and external hex, phillips, slotted, square, Torx® and others. Both adapters (sockets) and handles (wrenches) are included, inclusive of specialized types such as torque wrenches, impact socket drivers, and breaker bars.


SelectionCharacteristics

Tool Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the tool.

Tip Type: Indicates the specific type of tip and in turn which screws and bolts it can drive.

Size: Indicates a tool’s standard size designation, or nominal measurements of the working end(s).

Drive Size: Indicates the nominal size of the interface between a tool handle and an interchangeable tip or socket.

Length: Indicates the overall length of the item.

Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the tool such as deep socket or swiveling head.
