Machine vision lighting devices are preconfigured to cover a defined surface area at a specified height to provide consistent light levels for imaging systems. Types of lighting configurations include backlights, bar, coaxial, dome, box, ring, square, and spotlight in blue, infrared, red, ultraviolet, and white colorations. Power ratings range from 900mW to 43W.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Color: Indicates the color of the light output by the device.
Length: Indicates the length of the device. Typically this is the longer side.
Width: Indicates the width of the device. Typically this is the shorter side.
Height: Indicates the height of the device.
Outer Diameter: The measurement of the outer most edges of a cylindrical device passing through the device’s center of the circular face/profile.
Inner Diameter: The measurement of the inner most edges of a cylindrical device passing through the device’s center of the circular face/profile.
Length - Emitting Surface: The measurement of the distance across the longest section of the illuminating surface of the device.
Width - Emitting Surface: The measurement of the distance that is at a right angle to the longest section of the illuminating surface of the device.
Outer Diameter - Emitting Surface: The measurement of the outer most edges of a cylindrical device passing through the device’s center of the circular illuminating surface/profile.
Power Dissipation (Max): Characterizes the amount of electrical power dissipation in a device that produces a specified internal device temperature (often the rated maximum) under specified operating conditions.
