Outline and DRL file

Just did my first upload for DKred, and have a couple of issues/concerns.

  1. I’m having the DRL file issue. I’m using Altium and selected Generate EIA Binary Drill File (.DRL). But when I include that DRL file in the zip, it is not recognized as a drill file. My design (and most of my drill sizes) are metric. Is that a problem?
  2. My board has no internal cutouts, but it also is not rectangular. Is that a concern? I just noticed that the viewer does not properly represent that PCB outline.

Try unchecking Generate EIA Binary Drill File to see if that helps. Metric wouldn’t be a problem.

If your outline doesn’t look right usually when we see that it means your outline might be unconnected somewhere.

Checking that box is the only way to get a .DRL file. If I do the default Altium NC Drill outjob, I only get DRR, LDP and TXT files - none which seem to match your requested file.
