I’d like to create a four conductor 18AWG cable with a female four pin connector on one end that would mate to a corresponding male four pin connector for four stereo audio speaker conductors (left +/- and right +/-) for occasional use. I have (2) 2 conductor cables (lamp cord 18AWG) stubbed out from a wall. The cable should be 15’-20’ in length. The opposite end of the cable will connect directly to an audio amplifier. Would you please suggest an appropriate connector pair and a flexible four conductor 18AWG cable? This is just for general use, nothing fancy but I’d like to roll the cable up when not in use. I have ability to crimp and or solder. Thank you.
Hello donles,
For a 4 conductor cable, with 18awg wires, you can look at CE3034W-41-25-ND, which is a 25’ piece.
For connectors, you can look at A30655-ND and A30591-ND.
For a Male contact, you can use A100831CT-ND, and for the Female contact, you can use A100832CT-ND.
Please check the datasheets to verify compatibility to your application.
Looks good. I bought them.
Thank you!
