Connector Type: Indicates the specific type of connection being used. Typically meets a standard.

Number of Positions: Indicates the number of distinct conductors presented at a connector’s mating interface and the number of electrical contact points present within a connector.

Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.

Termination: Selection of termination style used to connect the device to a system, such as crimp or solder.

Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a cover, keyed, or shielded.

Contact Finish: Indicates the finish/plating material applied to the contacts of the device.

Contact Finish Thickness: Indicates the thickness of the finish/plating material applied to the contacts of a device.
