Pneumatic and hydraulic devices control the flow of air or inert gases and liquids, respectively, to actuators that convert the flow displacement into mechanical motion. Amplifier and control relays, momentary and maintained valves, flow restrictors, frequency and impulse generators, timers, vacuum generators and switches and solenoid valves make up the devices used to control and direct the flow to the actuators.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Function: Indicates the number and or type of valves and/or controls contained within the device.
Actuator Type: Indicates the style of actuator used to activate the device.
Operating Pressure: Indicates the range of working fluid pressures over which a device is specified to operate. Exceeding this pressure range may damage the device or other system components.
Orifice Diameter: An indication of internal flow path size, as provided by the manufacturer.
Fluid Type: Describes fluids with which a device is compatible or designed for use.
Connection Method: Indicates type and size of the fluid flow connectors on a device.
For Use With/Related Products: Defines other part types, numbers, or series with which this product is designed to be used.
Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a manual override or pressure indicator.
