Pneumatic and hydraulic tubing, hoses, and piping are items needed to accompany and complete pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Outer Diameter: Indicates the outer measurement of a product, from outside edge across to opposite outside edge.
Inner Diameter: Indicates the inner measurement of a product, from inside edge across to opposite inside edge.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
Material: Indicates the material composition of the device.
Length: Indicates the length of the product, typically this is the longest dimension.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as food safe or heavy duty.
Operating Pressure: Indicates the range of working fluid pressures over which a device is specified to operate. Exceeding this pressure range may damage the device or other system components.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
Fluid Type: Describes fluids with which a device is compatible or designed for use.
Bend Radius (Flow): The smallest radius that the item can be bent to and still be able to support nominal flow.
Fluid Temperature: Indicates the range of fluid temperatures the product is designed for use with. Fluids exceeding this range may cause damage to the product or other system components.
Minimum Bend Radius: Indicates the minimum amount of bend that should be used if product is bent.
Wall Thickness: Indicates the thickness of the product’s wall material.
Approval Agency: Application is the type of equipment or environment the device will be used in, typically they are tested and rated by a third party to ensure certain minimum standards for the application they are intended for.
