Protective Hoses, Solid Tubing, and Sleeving are hollow pieces of Aramid, Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene, Fiberglass, Polyamide, Polyester, Polyethylene, Polymer, Polyolefin, Polypropylene, Polytetrafluoroethylene, Polyvinylidene, Silica, Stainless Steel, and Steel in operating temperatures of -200°C to +648°C in lengths ranging from 0.062’ (19.05mm, 0.75”) to 1000’ (3048.00m) with both ends open.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Defines the primary construction style of the device, indicating which type of part it is and determining its general usage.
Type Attributes: Provides differentiation among products of a similar type, having differences in construction or intended application.
Diameter - Inside: Indicates the interior diameter of the tubing, describing the maximum diameter of circular material that can pass through it.
Diameter - Outside: Indicates the exterior diameter of the tubing, describing the maximum amount of space the tubing as a whole takes up.
Material: Indicates the material composition of the product.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
Length: Indicates the length of the product.
Wall Thickness: Indicates the thickness dimension of the product’s walls.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
Heat Protection: Indicates product resistance to heat or flame as described by the manufacturer.
Abrasion Protection: Describes resistance of product to various forms of mechanical abuse, as indicated by the manufacturer.
Liquid Protection: Enumerates fluids or fluid hazards to which a material is described as resistant by the manufacturer.
Environment Protection: Enumerates atmospheric hazards to which a product is specifically described by the manufacturer as being resistant.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as Clean Cut, M20 Threaded End, or Self Extinguishing
Material Flammability Rating: Ensures compliance with the relevant Flammability Rating.
