Products in the rack family are equipment mounting and enclosure systems based on standardized sets of equipment dimensions, used to mechanically assemble and contain mechanically compatible system subcomponents from various manufacturers in an organized and mechanically secure fashion. Open and enclosed racks are included and are offered in floor standing, wall mount, console, and other styles.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: The type or form factor of rack being offered.
Style: The physical style and construction of the rack.
Number of Units: How many standard rack units, or U, of equipment the rack can accommodate.
Dimensions - Panel: The dimensions of the interior space within the enclosure; the size of the largest rectangular object that could fit within.
Dimensions - Overall: The dimensions of the outer rack equipment itself; the amount of space the rack physically takes up.
Door: Indicates the material from which the enclosure’s doors are made.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as adjustable, dual door, or wall mount.
Mounting Rails: Indicates the number of integrated/included mounting rails for securing items within the rack.
Ventilation: Indicates whether or not a component includes holes, slots, or other provisions to facilitate airflow.
Material: The dominant material of the rack.
Color: The dominant color of the rack.
