Full SPI-Flash Memory Utilization for Data Storage Clients
Feature
If the SPI bitstream client is not present, you can create SPI data storage clients at any address, including those below 0x400
Description
In previous releases, the first 1024 Bytes of the target SPI-Flash memory device are reserved to store the addresses of programmed bitstreams whether they exist or not
In v2025.2 release, this restriction is removed for data storage clients only
Key Mode Column
Feature
Inserted a Key Mode column to the SPI Flash Clients Table showing which key (Default Key/UEK1/UEK2) was used for encrypting SPI bitstream file.
Purpose
In v2025.2 release, a “Key Mode” column is added to explicitly show what encryption key was used to generate a bitstream
SPI-Flash STAPL Support
Purpose
The purpose of this feature is to allow any STAPL player from different vendors to program SPI-Flash memory devices through PF and PFSoC devices including FPExpress
