Greetings,
-
Are there any part numbers on the potentiometer?
The only numbers on the potentiometer are what is shown in my photo -
What is meant by “not with these specs”?
I meant I was only able to find potentiometers that looked to have the same physical characteristics as mine, but not the correct specs. -
What is the purpose of the control? The reason I ask is that we need to determine the taper as described in this article.
This part is needed to replace a combination master volume/balance control on a vintage Roland Digital Audio Mixer Model M-1000. -
Name the equipment and specific circuit designation. This may help, as occasionally we are able to locate a schematic.
I found the schematic here. On page 4, it describes this potentiometer as follows:
“ 9 03017012 9M/M ROTARY POT. RK0972210C0N 10KBx2”
Here is the link to the schematic document: https://www.synthxl.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Roland-M-1000-Service-Manual.pdf
Hopefully this information allows you to drill down to the exact part needed.
Thank you!
