Oscilloscope Probe cable assemblies are used to provide an electrical connection between an oscilloscope and an electronic circuit for testing and measurement of signals. The types of probes are active differential, active-single-ended, demodulator, differential, filter probe-low pass, general purpose, modular passive, secondary ignition pickup, trigger probe, and a voltage probe with an attenuation value range of 1:1 to 1000:1.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Attenuation Value: Indicates the nominal ratio between the amplitude of a measured signal and the signal presented to connected test equipment by a probe. Multiple values reflect multiple attenuation settings.
Bandwidth: Indicates the maximum frequency or the range of frequencies the device is designed to measure.
Resistance - Input: The resistive component of the load presented to a circuit by a probe. Multiple values reflect input resistance at different attenuation settings.
Voltage - Max: The maximum voltage of a signal that a probe is rated to measure. Category designations are safety-related, with higher category numbers referring to higher hazard levels posed by a circuit under test.
Capacitance - Input: Characterizes the amount of capacitive loading that a probe presents to a signal being measured, respectively, to the attenuation value(s) listed.
Cable Length: The length of the cable, this length may or may not include the probe. Please consult the individual datasheets.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
